Built to celebrate his TDF win last year, the snappily titled BMC Teammachine SLR01 Dura-Ace Di2 2012 Cadel Evans Ltd Edition Road Bike is pretty much the final word in team-issue bling.

Restricted to 141 pieces worldwide, the reason being that 141 was Cadel’s UCI rider number for the 2011 TdF, each individually numbered bike comes decked out with many of the custom yellow-coloured components the team’s sponsors whipped up for the diminutive Aussie’s final day victory pootle into Paris.

Built up around a Di2-specific, canary yellow version of BMC’s celebrated Teammachine SLR01 it naturally features Shimano’s top tier electronic groupset, along with Easton EC90 Aero wheels, shod with Continental Competition Tubulars. Also kitted-out with nice little yellow finishing touches, such as the Fizik Antares Carbon Braided SaddleSwissStop Yellow King brake pads and even yellow Speedplay Zero pedals, this is without doubt one of the most accomplished and realistic of team issues bikes we’ve ever seen. And we aren’t even put off by the colour!

So to the price…Equipped with a formidable arsenal of top-end components you can probably make a educated guesstimate, well do that, and then add some more money to it until you get to £8799.99. Wow. Available now, to Cadel loving Russian Oligarchs or those of you with a huge bundle of £50 notes stashed under your mattress check Evans Cycles for order details/availability.
